The aim of this course is to introduce practitioners to the use of financial and accounting information in practice at the Bar. Although the Bar Standards Board have specified that this course must be completed as part of the compulsory requirement, it can be completed either in the pupillage year or by the end of the first three years of practice. The Bar Standards Board strongly recommends that the course be completed in the pupillage year, as there may be difficulty in attending a course once you have entered practice.
You can choose to attend the Civil, Criminal or Family Programme. The course is provided by BPP and you can download the booking form here.
