Insight Evening - London

Join the Inner Temple for an Insight Evening on 24 October 2019 to hear from barristers and judges about the profession. Staff from the Inn will also be on hand to discuss the support the Inn can provide such as scholarships and pupillage advice

About the event

The panel session kicks off the event with practising barristers and judges discussing their journeys to the bar. There is an opportunity to ask questions after the panel session. To conclude the evening there will be a reception with panel members, additional barristers, BPTC Students and Pupils. You are encouraged to network and ask questions that may aid you in deciding whether a career at the bar is for you.

Public Transport

Nearest Underground Stations - Charing Cross and Piccadilly Circus 

Bus routes: 12, 13, 15 and 453.

Car parking

The Royal Society is located within the congestion charge zone. On-street parking on Carlton House Terrace and Waterloo Place is available for up to four hours, for £3.30 - £4.40 per hour. Westminster City Council's Trafalgar Square car park is also close by.

Bicycle parking

There are cycle racks along Carlton House Terrace on either side of the Duke of York monument.


There are four steps from street level to the doorway. There is a wheelchair lift at the entrance which is operable by reception staff. Please note wheelchair user under resonable adjustmensts on the booking form if you need to use this. Upon your arrival to the venue use the buzzer to the right of the entrance steps to alert the reception staff.
