Event Details:

Sometimes lawyers fear that if they compromise this will be perceived as sign of weakness: it might suggest that you have backed down, given up on your client’s objectives or been out-manoeuvred. Yet often a compromise is the best way to move forward in a constructive fashion.

In other sectors, such as the military and government, compromise is essential, as is retaining one’s reputation as a strong and successful leader. What mental and practical steps do leaders in other sectors take to be able to compromise without regret or fear? And what happens when the decision to compromise leads to an unfavourable outcome?

During this highly anticipated Survive & Thrive event, our speakers will discuss:

  • how to compromise whilst maintaining authority
  • how to manage your client’s expectations vs. the reality
  • share some effective communication techniques for successful compromise.
