International Legal Assistance Consortium AGM & Public Seminar and Reception

The International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC) works to assess the needs of the justice sector in conflict-affected and fragile countries and helps strengthen the independence and resilience of justice sector institutions and the legal profession. Their primary aim is equal access to justice.

ILAC are running two FREE linked events on Thursday 30 May to which members of the Inn are cordially invited to attend.

Annual General Meeting and Public Seminar

ILAC will be hosting their Annual General Meeting and public seminar on the topic of Pushing Back: implementing Global Justice and Gender Goals in a Time of Closing Space for the Judiciary on Thursday 30 May from 2pm at The Law Society. Guests at the event will include representatives of international Bar associations and law societies.

Following the AGM and public seminar, a networking drinks reception will be held for all delegates and members of the Inn with an interest in international rule of law and human rights issues. The reception will take place in the Temple Church. It will give members the opportunity to learn more about the work of ILAC and to meet international delegates and members of the Bar with shared interest in the above topics.
