The Honourable Society of the Inner Temple is currently seeking an HR Manager (part-time) for a brand new role. This is a great opportunity for a professional HR generalist with an excellent working knowledge of current UK employment law and best practice. The role will involve taking over some existing duties, expanding others, and developing and implementing some entirely new processes.

The HR Manager’s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing and developing all HR policies and procedures
  • Development of new performance management and absence management processes
  • Supporting recruitment, managing employee on-boarding and ensuring employee data is compliant
  • Supporting the CEO and leadership team with people management
  • Employee engagement and communications
  • Talent management and succession planning

Requirements for the role of HR Manager:

  • Proven experience gained in a similar role, including implementation of new processes
  • Generalist HR knowledge with experience in multiple areas of the HR function: Recruitment & On-Boarding, Learning & Development, Performance Management, Employee Relations
  • CIPD qualified/Degree in Human Resources highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail
