- A full-bottomed wig, which belonged to Sir Ian Percival (who was in his day Solicitor-General under Margaret Thatcher and Treasurer of The Inner Temple) with the tin in which it has been kept, since he took silk in 1963
- Two ordinary barrister's wigs, the one horse-hair (with tin) and the other synthetic.
The full-bottomed wig is in magnificent condition, having only been used on ceremonial occasions, and its tin is in essentially very good condition.
The barrister's wigs, having been worn regularly for many years, are showing signs of wear, but remain perfectly serviceable. The tin has definitely seen better days, but has character.
Suggested prices: Full-bottomed wig plus tin £2000/2500 and the small wigs £200/250.
