The Inn will need to process your data to comply with its legal obligations:
- to run a successful, fair and transparent recruitment process,
- Decide to whom we should offer a job to,
- to check your entitlement to work in the UK,
- to check that the information you supply with regards to work history and qualifications is correct,
- to fulfil any statutory or regulatory requirements.
In these cases, the Inn will rely on Article 6 (1) (c) of the GDPR – legal obligation as the basis for processing.
For the below processing activities, the Inn will rely upon the basis in Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR – legitimate interest:
- run recruitment processes.
- ensure effective general HR and business administration.
- respond to and defend against legal claims; and
- maintain and promote equality in the workplace.
In some cases, it may be necessary to process your data to protect your interests (or the interests of another individual), for official purposes or to protect the public interest.
