This talk by Reagan Persaud (Spire Barristers) will cover an overview of relevant terminology relating to trans people, consideration of the history of trans rights by the court and where we are at now, relevant guidance from the Equal Treatment Bench Book that practitioners need to be aware of, wider considerations that practitioners need to be aware of when working with trans people, and the risks to trans people if good practice is not adhered to.
The talk will commence at 6pm, lasting around an hour, followed by drinks for those attending in person who wish to continue the conversation.
