His Honour Roderick Denyer QC

It is with much regret that we report that Master Denyer , sadly died last weekend. The Inn’s flag has flown at half-mast on Friday, 20 March, in his memory.

Master Denyer was called to the Bar in 1970 and practiced at St John’s Chambers, Bristol, where he was Head of Chambers. He was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1990 and to the Circuit Bench in 20002. He sat at Cardiff, and latterly in Bristol where he was the Designated Civil Judge, until his retirement in 2017.

Master Denyer was elected a Bencher of the Inn in 1996.
