Treasury Office Assistant - Fixed Term Contract

We are looking for an administrator to provide administrative and secretarial support to Member Events team and the wider Treasury Office. Duties include events administration, data input, ordering office supplies, posting merchandise orders and being the first point of contact for enquiries.  There will be a requirement to occasionally work in the evenings and at weekends for which overtime/TOIL will be paid.

What we need:

We need an experienced administrator with effective communications skills, a high standard of IT literacy and excellent attention to detail.  You should have proven experience of processing financial transactions. Previous experience of working in a membership organisation is desirable.

About us:

The Treasury Office is responsible for student admissions to the Inn; management of the Inn’s membership records; the Inn’s diary; the organisation of professional and social events; management of our publications, conservation of the Inn’s collection of paintings and silver and maintenance of the interior of the Treasury Building.

What we offer:

Salary is £28,586 per annum (paid pro-rata for period of employment), a non-contributory pension benefit, free lunches at work when the Inn’s kitchens are open, a taxed daily luncheon allowance provided when they are closed and 25 days holiday pro-rata. The fixed term contract is for 6 months.
