Rebecca is Chief Executive of Advocate, the Bar’s pro bono charity, and has worked in access to justice for over 20 years. She began her career as a solicitor at Hogan Lovells before joining LawWorks, where she led a project establishing free legal advice sessions in low-income communities. She later became Programme Director of the Litigant in Person Support Strategy at the Access to Justice Foundation, coordinating national efforts to support unrepresented individuals.
Rebecca is an Honorary Bencher of Middle Temple and has held a range of trustee and non-executive roles, including with the Money Advice Trust, Advice Services Alliance, and Blackfriars Settlement. She is currently an adviser to the HMCTS Reform Programme.
