The Inner Temple Drama Society

FAQs

What are the benefits of joining the society?

There are several benefits, including but not limited to:

  • Building confidence with public speaking
  • Improving your ability to think on your feet through improvisation
  • Networking opportunities with current members of the Bar
Are there any costs associated with joining the society?

It is free to join the Society. While most props and costumes for performances are provided, there may be occasions where there is a cost to you. For example, if the Society is taking part in external performances such as the Fringe, you may be expected to cover your train fare, while the society covers the cost of accommodation.

You will be informed before signing up for the competition if there will be any costs to consider on your side.

I’m not a student member; can I take part?

The Society is primarily run by Inner Temple student members. While you must be a member to take part in the society, if you are a member of the junior Bar and an Inner Temple member there are some opportunities you can take part.
