Yes! You can join as many student societies as you like.
Just ensure that you have a clear diary for the events you wish to attend. Being a member of a student society is seen as a professional commitment, therefore, any last minute drop ups and no shows are not tolerated.
It is free to become a member of a student society.
However, please note there may be some costs associated with being a member. For example:
Yes! The student societies host a variety of events online and in-person. There may be events where you are required to be in London e.g., you are competing in a moot/debate etc. In some, but not all cases, the society may be able to cover/subsidy your travel.
Some of the student societies also host events on circuit.
The inn also offers a travel subsidy for out of London students who would like to take part in student society activities that are due to be held in-person at the inn. CLICK HERE to read more about this.
You must be an Inner Temple member in order to take part in the student societies.
