Advocacy and the Vulnerable Training

Training for advocates who work with vulnerable witnesses in court

The course helps advocates understand how to communicate with and question witnesses who may be vulnerable because of their age, background, physical or mental health, learning needs, or other personal circumstances.

What the Course Covers

The training focuses on the key principles for working with vulnerable people in the justice system and adapting advocacy techniques to meet their needs.

Courses are delivered by the Inns and Circuits using materials developed by the Inns of Court College of Advocacy.
