Open Days

The Inner Temple Garden enjoys taking part in many of London’s horticultural highlights including the Chelsea Fringe Festival and the Open Garden Squares weekend. Please check this page and our Instagram feed for details of upcoming open days and events.

The Chelsea Fringe Festival coincides with Chelsea Flower Show in mid-May. On Sunday 22 May 2022, the Garden will host Meditation and Mindfulness in London’s Secret Garden. This is a rare opportunity for the public to come to the Garden on a weekend, to experience its early-summer exuberance and rare plant collection. A sea of different foxglove varieties within the perennial borders provide a breath-taking display. Take part in guided meditation sessions and gong baths led by Nick Stolerman; wellbeing flower-specimen drawing; a charity plant stall and more. There will also be coffee and pastries available on the day. Come along and be uplifted by the beauty of the Garden. Bring a blanket and a picnic, or just relax on one of the deckchairs on the lawn.

Open Garden Squares Weekend is annual event taking place over a weekend in early to mid-June where many of London’s most special gardens open. The year The Inner Temple Garden opens on 12 June 2022 alongside Middle Temple Garden and the Master’s Garden. Full detail (and to purchase passes) are available at londongardenstrust.org.

The Garden also takes part in the National Garden Scheme with tickets available for a special tour of The Inner Temple and Middle Temple Gardens by the respective Head Gardeners usually in June. Full details and to book tickets at ngs.org.uk.
