We enable students to participate in a variety of internal mooting competitions, most notably the Lawson Moot, which comprises multiple rounds on different areas of law; and the Inter-Varsity Moot, which puts University teams against each other in a day-long knock-out competition with a problem area that varies each year. We also run area-specific competitions such as the Ecclesiastical Law Moot and Commercial Law Moot, as well as friendly moots against other institutions such as Pepperdine University and Notre Dame Law School.

The Inter-Varsity Moot is our only competition in which participants do not need to be Inner Temple members. Universities will be able to sign up from the middle of November via this website, usually with a closing date of mid/late December. All universities and law course providers are welcome. Outside the Inter-Varsity Moot, membership is required for all other internal moot competitions.
