Master James Turner

Master Turner was called to the Bar in 1976 and took silk in 1998. He practised family law at 1 King’s Bench Walk. Throughout his career, he was involved in many of the landmark family law cases of the past two decades. He was a contributing editor of Archbold: Criminal Pleading, Evidence and Practice from 1992 to 2018
Master Turner was elected as a Barrister Governing Bencher of the Inn in 2006 and served as a member of the Executive Committee from 2009 to 2011.
The Inn’s flag will fly at half-mast in his memory on Thursday 23 January.
